Hi I've just got the pc game 'Armed and Dangerous'. However, I have just been admiring the box, as I cannot actually play it.
The game says that it needs directx 9.0b in order to work. I already have directx 9.0c. When I press 'START GAME' a message box appears saying 'this game needs to update your directx installation before you can proceed!' And asks if i want to update now. At first I said no, but the game didn't launch.
Eventually, after several tries I said yes, and still, nothing happened. I had the game analyse the computer for compatibility, and it says here that it requires 9.0b, but that I only have directx 9.0. I then went to directx diagnostics. In this it says i have version 9.0c!
It also says that there are no problems with directx on my computer I then re-installed directx 9.0c and, guess what, the game still won't work. So can someone please, please help me. I installed it, found it didn't work, uninstalled it, and then installed it again and it still did not work.
I then installed it on another PC in my house, and exactly the same happened.
